Lord Nataraja Temple

Our dedicated temple to Lord Nataraja, a revered form of Lord Shiva, stands as a testament to the rich heritage and spiritual depth encapsulated in the ancient Puranas and Shastras. These texts from puranas, offer extensive descriptions of Lord Nataraja’s various dancing forms, of which we provide just a glimpse. Lord Nataraja, symbolizing the cosmic dance of creation and destruction, is an embodiment of Lord Shiva's dynamic and rhythmic movement in the form of the Tandava.

As such, Lord Nataraja is also revered as 'Nateshwar', the epitome of dancing prowess. His dance forms, notably the Lasya and Anand Tandav, where Lasya is gentle and graceful, and is associated with the creation of the world, while Anand Tandav, vigorous and blissful, represents the destruction of old and weary worldviews to pave the way for rejuvenation.
